The Centre Régional de Verviers pour l’Intégration (CRVI) is one of the eight regional integration centres created in 1998 for the integration of foreign nationals and people with a migration background; The CRVI is an indispensable actor in regional integration policy and is very strongly anchored at the local level. It has extensive expertise in further education and scaling up training programmes. The organisation is well-versed in networking, in particular through the platforms that it already coordinates (local integration plan, ALPHA/FLE language and literacy platform). The CRVI has already worked on the specific needs of the target group and endeavours to promote all measures that promote intercultural exchange. Its goal is to support immigrant population groups in their autonomous development and promote inter-community contacts and the measures of social intervention organisations. A coherent policy will also be pursued throughout the French-speaking area.
